I’m 5’3” and 170lbs – this thing has no problem boosting me up hills, and I fit on the XR surprisingly well. I was expecting it to be a bit big, but it is very accommodating size wise. I had my local bike shop assemble it for $95, dropped it off and then picked it up two days later. Pretty standard timing for them, and they didn’t report having any trouble with it. The box was pretty beat up on delivery, but the bike itself had no issues or damage. As for speed… unlock the speed in the settings, and dang it’s a good ride. I’m very easily hitting 30mph on slight upward inclines. I’ll drop to 14mph or so going up my steep 9-9.5 grade hill on assist level 3, though can go faster if I put the work in.

I bought another E-bike at the same time, it cost less then half of the Ride1up but had twice the packing.

We purchased two Lmt’d which we are overall happy with. First, the boxes were in poor condition, but the bikes seemed undamaged. Next, after three days of valiant effort we needed to take the bikes to a trusted cycle shop to have it assembled at a cost of $175 per bike. Three weeks later, these sincere bicycle gurus commented that these were the most difficult bikes they ever had to put together and needed to do all sorts of unexpected things – beyond my comprehension- for example each spoke needed to be trued, etc. it was their conclusion that average lay bicycle riders would never be able to assemble these. Ride on! Ride strong!

First time I took the bike out, I was at 33mph on a slight uphill! Good chance I could have gotten it a little faster if I didn’t get to the stop sign at the end of the street. This is my first ebike and I’m so happy that I got it. Lots of fun. Good chance I’ll swap out the tires for knobby tires at some point as I like to have more grip and handle gravel a little better. Also, when I first got the bike, there was a little bit of damage (nothing structural) and customer service was awesome to work with. All around highly recommended with amazing support from Ride1Up.

Product was very well packed. I only wish I could better reach the ground when sitting on the seat. (5′ 7″) At the age of 85, I may have purchased more bike then I need; base on info later learned info.

I’m disappointed with the battery life, but I’ve adjusted. I am 66 and 5’4″ tall (short). It was recommended for riders 5’6″ or taller and you were right. I’ve taken 3 dives in my first month, due to my height. I shoulda bought a step-through. Nevertheless, I may die, but it will be happily! Thank you!

S__t happens. Otherwise I absolutely love the bike! Wouldn’t change my decision.

In order to get the rear off you have to remove the derailleur, which is a pain in the butt.
