Feels great to ride, and light enough to lift up; more affordable than similar bikes. It’s worth noting that the feel is a bit different because of the belt drive instead of chain. I’m likely going to get a kickstand installed.

First, my wife is a cyclist and a beast on a bike! Her quick rides are 35-50 miles. Me , not so much. I am of average weight and healthy. We have not road together for about 10 years. Even at her slowest, I was left behind and frustrated. I wanted so much to be apart of her and her riding. This bike changed all of that! I can now keep up with her even at her slow pace on her mountain bike, not enough speed if she is on her road bike.

So I’ve had this bike for 3 years now and it is my favorite road bike. I also have a trek rail 5 but I prefer this bike on the road any day day hands down. The mounting clip for the controller LCD broke but that was a known issue and still the only thing broken on my bike. I’ve rode this in rain to work and it hasn’t let me down yet. I don’t know how many miles I’ve put on the bike anymore since the display stops 999. Still the best looking e-bike in my opinion. Also, remove the tires as soon as you can and replace them with continental gator skins, no flats for 2 years after that.

Highly recommend 1UP. Got the basic model. PROS: no shifting, 15 MPH w no battery on flats, no chain oil stain, great brakes, great bell, good tires, stealth ebike, 3hr charge, easy assembly, fun to ride. CONS: no suspension, no lights, no fenders, fair weather bike, 20-30 mile range, need to toggle off motor on downhills to extend battery range, terrible on steep uphills meant for bike paths and flat roads.

This is an amazing starter e-bike that won’t break the bank. It has everything I need as a city commuter. My only complaint is the lack of an integrated headlight and taillight. The e-bike has a display that supports these by holding the down arrow button, but Ride1Up didn’t seem to have capitalized on it, likely for cost reasons. Such a missed opportunity.
