I use it for commute 6 days a week and it made it with flying colors. Super easy to assemble no adjustments were necessary. Great bike and sturdy enough for 1000 miles in 2 months.

Thanks for the review. All of these variables contribute to how much range you will get on a single charge. Making sure your bike is tuned up makes a big difference. You can read more here: https://ride1up.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/65000167896. Temperature can have a large impact, if you still have concerns feel free to contact our support team.

Concerning the gearing, we try to find the sweet spot so you have some top end pedal power but can still climb hills. You could change your gearing to suit your needs, your local bikeshop could assist you with this.

I have been riding in assist level 1 or 2 only with an occasional throttle boost for hill climbs. There was minimal wind today and the temp was 45 degrees.Should I expect to get better distances in warmer weather?
Also have you considered a smaller get yourself home replacement battery, this bike is a lot of work in pedal only mode at more than 60lbs.
Love the cruiser, just not looking forward to riding home on my own power.
